Marx of High Water is a fledgling indie game designer producing tabletop roleplaying games. They are unashamedly narrativist and lean heavily towards exploring social themes through roleplaying.
Marx also writes, edits and directs projects for the San Jenaro CoOp, a game design collective whose works include the quarterly Short Games Digests and The Roleplayer's Guide to Heists.
Marx is the host and producer for Yes Indie'd Pod, a podcast about indie tabletop roleplaying games where they interview creators about their games and inspirations, and about the theory, process and practice of game design.
Another of their projects is the in*die zine, a quarterly zine of indie tabletop roleplaying game content that's almost entirely the work of other people. Supporting the zine is good praxis and if you believe in indie and socialism then you should do it.
